One word can describe yesterday's concert at the Wing Ding in Sarasota... HOT
It was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky but not good if you have to sit outside for an all day concert!
But Jessica and I made the most of it, hiding once in a while in the stable building to get out of the sun. They also had entertainment in there to enjoy.
All of the bands that we saw were good and after they performed they all stayed and signed autographs, etc.
Of course my favorite of the day was Phil Stacey. Wish I could have taken some pics of him singing however they didn't allow cameras in the gate. So the only one I could take in was "slim shady" and he doesn't have a big enough lens. (Clint Black doesn't sign autographs or allow his pic to be taken, so that is why no camera's allowed... not happy with him.)
Cas Haley was very good too! I was going to get a pic with him but his line was just too long and we were just too hot, sticky and tired.
We left before Chuck Wicks (sorry Shelley and Wendy) and Clint Black. It's back to the too hot, tired and sticky thing again, so we headed home early.

No way...left before our guy?!?!? Well, according to my dh, I have ENOUGH pictures of Chuck Wicks on my iphone! Oooops! Who would of thought he'd be loading pictures on MY phone? : ) Glad you got to see Phil again, what is with no cameras? That Clint Black is too big for his britches!
Thanks for sharing your pics, Joni! Sorry that you couldn't take more pictures. I don't blame people for being upset. Glad to read your blog to get a little more detail. Phil is awesome. I hope he comes through the area again soon, so that I can hopefully meet him.
Wish I could have gone... had my nephew all weekend!!! UGH :) Great pics of Phil. I didn't know Cas Haley was going to be there too (since I couldn't go I didn't look at the list otherwise I would have been sad I couldn't go!) - I LOVE CAS!!! I listen to him out by the pool while drinking a beer a few times a week!
