Hola!
Did you know that Mexicans do not celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Neither did we until we were there last week. They actually celebrate their Independence Day on Sept 25th.
We arrived in Cancun via Tampa to Atlanta (which was the dumbest thing to fly north to go to Mexico) on Sunday at lunch. When we arrived at our hotel in Rivera Mayan our room was ready, they listened and booked our rooms right next door to our friends who were traveling with us. We had the most awesome rooms. They were huge rooms with sliding glass doors that took you out to the porch and pool. Yes we just walked out of our room and down a few steps and we were in the pool. 
Is that cool or what? I want to make sure we always have a room like that! Can you tell which room we were in? Yes we had our Steeler beach towels with us and I sported my Steeler visor while at the pool. It was amazing how many Pittsburghers there were in our pool! One guy even went to the same high school as I did!

gh area just in our pool. Can you imagine how many others were out there? The resort had 12 different pools. Our pool was the best though, all of the day activities and party people were near us. More info and pictures to follow :)
