Mandisa Concert ~ Where did my week go?

Last Sunday John, Shelley, Adriane and I went to see Mandisa perform at the Bell Shoals Baptist Church. I can't believe a week as gone by already and I haven't shared my pics with yunz {or y'all}.

Where did my week go?? My Mom had surgery on Tuesday. She needed a stent put in her renal artery, she had 60% blockage. Everything went really well and she was able to come home from the hospital the next afternoon. She has been staying with me until she feels comfortable enough to go home.

Ok rewind back to last Sunday... What an AWESOME voice Mandisa has! She sang the most beautiful songs. I didn't know any of them however it didn't matter. She sang every word so clearly and perfectly. One song is going to be on her next album but she sang it early because it was a tribute to the pastor and his son who lost their lives a few weeks ago from that church. It was very emotional to hear her sing that song for them to help in the healing process.

Of course I stayed afterwards to meet Mandisa, get my picture taken with her and she also signed my Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul. {Thank you John for having patience waiting}
