Love my Idol's!

Fun day!

Even though tropical storm Fay was still throwing some wind and rain our way, I still made my way down to the St Pete Times Forum and did a little Idol searching. {John calls it stalking} I knew they had to be out and about somewhere so I just drove around a few times and then spotted a small crowd. Of course I joined the crowd to find out they were having a meet and greet from 2-4 outside. Yippee!

So while waiting for them to show up I passed out Ace Young flyer's to everyone that was there. Everyone remembered Ace and had no idea he had an album that dropped last month. So hopefully my job helped him sell a few more CD's. Visit www.acemusic.com or www.myspace/aceyoung to hear his new music! It's awesome!! While I was passing out the flyer's someone said "Hey Joni". I looked at her and didn't have any idea who she was. I'm a VERY good with faces, names not so much. She goes on to tell me she saw my myspace page and requested to be friends with me on it. I was really surprised that she would remember me from the internet. So I took her pic holding the flyer, now I'll always remember her! ;-)

So with Idol pictures and sharpie in hand, I waited with everyone else. Finally Kristy Lee came out and the crowd cheered! She was very nice, and made it around to everyone, signed autographs, took pics. She is just as cute in person as she was on TV. What an ugly picture but this was taken just as another feeder band was going by. You know it's windy if my curly hair blows!

When she was almost done David A. came out and the screams started! LOL He didn't spend much time outside, just quickly signed as fast as he could while mumbling he had to go, had press to do. So no pics were taken with anyone... in fact in barely signed his name.

All of a sudden LOUD screams started! I couldn't see who came out {that damn Zamboni was in my way} but I knew it had to be David Cook or Michael Johns. So a few minutes later I see that it is David Cook. He was SO nice to everyone! He was out there a long time. Signed everything, took lots of pics with everyone...very nice guy! He also had his little friend Lindsey Rose with him. He wore her orange bracelet during the whole Idol show. In fact during his show he told the story of how he met her when he was in the top 12. Said meeting her changed his life and that he owes all of his success on Idol to her. What a nice guy! So here are a few pics of David and also little Lindsey. Notice their matching necklaces! Oh cute!

Also Brooke, Ramiele & Syesha came out and signed stuff from everyone. Brooke stayed out the longest of the girls but all were very nice to everyone. Syesha was MUCH prettier in person! I was shocked at the difference. Ramiele was VERY short, much shorter than I expected... and so cute!

Ok I've saved the BEST for last! JASON!! He was just as sweet in person as he was on TV. He talked with everyone, took 100's of pictures, some which were very crazy and just had a good time. I asked him if I could feel one of his dreads.... it was very soft! I thought it was going to be like steel wool or something but it wasn't. It's the perfect hairstyle for him!

I was able to meet everyone except Michael, Carly and Chikezie, they never came out to meet anyone ;-( Next post will actually be about the concert! :-)
