Our home is located on a beautiful lake. I love the wildlife and everyday there is something new to see. Rookie {remember the crazy grand-dog} found a mother Mallard Duck sitting on her eggs right by our pool.
Now this duck could have laid her eggs out there
or over there...
BUT NO, she decides to make her babies a new home in our fenced in yard 3ft from the pool edge! Doesn't she see the crazy dog that comes here every 3rd day?
Hopefully when the eggs hatch we will be able to escort them out the gate to the real duck pool before they become toys for Rookie!
