Not sure where my week has gone again! Is it because I'm getting old that time flies by so fast? OK on to Ace... lots of laughs with Ace. I have his single ~ Addicted as my ring tone and someone called me while he was standing there. That was very cool! On the phone was my Ace friend from GA who I haven't met yet. We've been talking on the computer for about a year and she was just calling to see if I made it to the show yet. She is visiting her daughter in Denver right now, I handed the phone to Ace and said it was for him. He said who is it? I said you'll have to find out but it's someone that's in Denver. He put the phone to his ear and said, Candace? The man is so amazing that he can remember stuff like that. She sent him an email saying she was going to Denver {that is where Ace is from} to visit her daughter for a couple of weeks. I really don't know how he can remember people's names etc. Every city he goes in he meets new/old fans and always remembers. Here is a pic talking on my phone. I told him, Tell Candace I'm here hugging you...

Afer an hour with Ace it was time for us to leave ... he arrived in Orlando at 3am, did a Fox live show at 7am then went to Disney to film for their new American Idol experience opening in Jan. I said well we better let you get some rest before the show. {can't believe I offered to leave} So after more hugs from everyone it was time to go. I said, We'll see you after the show! Jessica looked at me and said, What do you mean after the show? I said they were having a meet & greet after the show. She said, Didn't you just have the
1 hour ultimate meet and greet with him? Well yes I did, but I knew there were a few more hugs coming my way! We piled in the car, put on Ace's new CD. Ohhh did I tell you we all got an autographed advance copy of his new CD?

As soon as we got in the car we opened the windows and blasted it. The first note of the music came out and he looked over to us and gave us the biggest smile ever! It was very cool. Now it was time to find a parking space for the festival and get to work passing out flyer's. Shelley is always good at finding us an "up close" spot! We refreshed, had a few jello shots, filled our glasses again with some kind of awesome concoction that Jessica made and started to the festival to pass out Ace's flyer's. The first person I gave one to was the security officer at the gate. He was a very happy person! He knew who Ace was and said he loved him on Idol and was excited to hear his music. Said he thought season 5 was the best of all of the years {I have to agree with that} and if Ace would have been on a different year, he probably would have won. That made me happy! What I found is that if anyone was an American Idol fan, they knew who Ace was and loved him. If not, they didn't know who he was. So we had to spread the word to everyone we could so they made sure to watch his performance at Red, Hot & Boom and know that he has an album coming out on Tuesday! The show was fantastic! That was the first time I've seen Ace perform in person {except for my backyard} and he is so energic! The only problem with the show was the stage. It was floating out on the water and of course we were on land. So we missed watching him up close. I kept looking through my camera with the zoom so I could see him. Because I was looking through the camera I have about 300 pictures! LOL After his show we packed up quickly and made it over to the meet and greet area. First he was doing an interview with the sponsoring radio station and then he took the time to meet every person who was waiting for him. He signed autographs, gave lots of hugs, took tons of pics with fans and hopefully made a lot of new ones! So that was my Thursday July 3 Ace Adventure. BUT there are many more adventures coming my way. I'm leaving on Monday to go to Ace's album release party at the Mohegan Sun in CT. Don't forget, make sure you get his new CD on Tuesday! You will LOVE every song. I'm sure I'll have lots of pics after Tuesday to share too!
