Girls Night Out!

Sex in the City was playing at our local adult theater so what a great excuse for a girls night out! Wendy, Shelley, Jenni, Beth and I went to see the movie in the coolest movie theater I've ever been to! It was for adults only, had a bar, free popcorn and big comfy leather seats! What more could you ask for, cold beer and popcorn! The movie was so good, we laughed a lot, someone beside me even had her tissue out a few times.

After the movie we took the trolley to Channelside for dinner and some more fun.

When we arrived at Channelside we couldn't decide where to eat. Some of our crowd wanted good margaritas and weren't worried about how good the food was. Shelley warned us a few times...the food sucks, the service is lousy but the margaritas are good. Everyone kept saying...mmm good margaritas... I guess we weren't worried about the food. We made the trek up to Margarita Mama's. They had a sign outside that said, "Food is good, Service is lousy but the Margaritas are great!" So in we went. We had a funny waiter, we asked him what he recommended to eat. He said he has never eaten there before. That should have been clue #10 that we should run as fast as we could to another restaurant... but NO...they did have those great margaritas, so we stayed. I was a little scared so I ordered Cheese Sticks, figured they couldn't screw that up. They were very good except for the one that was totally empty! :)

On their menu under dessert they offered PREPACKED PUDDING! We laughed so hard at that! If you have already seen Sex in the City you are probably laughing too!

Shelley got WAY more food than she ordered, Wendy got food not cooked, Beth got something that was COVERED in bacon bits (gross) and hmmm Jenni... I can't remember what she had so it must have been ok. Whatever you do, don't go to Margarita Mama's to eat, only if you want good expensive margaritas!

After we had enough fun there, we strolled over to Howl at the Moon. What a fun place! Every time I've been there I've laughed so hard, including our girls night out! Here are a few pictures of the evening... good thing Wendy, Beth and Jenni were going home in a cab because none of them could drive after all of the BUCKETS of Margaritas!

First person who wasn't with us that can guess what Wendy has in her mouth gets a RAK! LOL!
